Tehzeeb Hafi, a favourite among the youth, reads his known verses on love, poverty and the longing for home. Javed Akhtar turns to time and the silences that sit inside relationships. Shakeel Azmi shares his nazm Parde Ke Peeche Ka Andhera, for the unsung workers of the film industry. Anwar Shaoor reads on love, aging and the irony of desire, and Khalid Irfan brings sharp, lighthearted satire on India and Pakistan. Farhat Ehsas explores the scars love leaves behind, and Abbas Tabish moves the room with poetry on mothers, loneliness and sacrifice.
