بیٹھو یاں بھی کوئی پل کیا ہوگا
ہم بھی عاشق ہیں خلل کیا ہوگا
دل ہی ہو سکتا ہے اور اس کے بغیر
جان من دل کا بدل کیا ہوگا
حسن کے ناز اٹھانے کے سوا
ہم سے اور حسن عمل کیا ہوگا
کل کا اقرار جو میں کر کے اٹھا
بولا بیٹھ اور بھی چل کیا ہوگا
تو جو کل آنے کو کہتا ہے نظیرؔ
تجھ کو معلوم ہے کل کیا ہوگا
