زندگی ایک سزا ہو جیسے
ہر کوئی تیشہ بدست آتا ہے
بت کوئی مجھ میں چھپا ہو جیسے
خواہش وصل نے دم توڑ دیا
وہ مجھے چھوڑ گیا ہو جیسے
دل کے لٹنے پہ وہ کہرام مچا
کوئی بے موت مرا ہو جیسے
آج انساں کا تشخص جذبیؔ
ایک مفلس کی قبا ہو جیسے
