جان سے کیسے جایا جاتا ہے
یہ ہنر کیا سکھایا جاتا ہے
بول کر بولیاں پرندوں کی
ان کو گھیرے میں لایا جاتا ہے
بعض وعدے کیے نہیں جاتے
پھر بھی ان کو نبھایا جاتا ہے
میں نہ جاؤں کہیں تو پھر دیکھوں
کس طرح میرا سایا جاتا ہے
صبح کے بعد بھی جو روشن ہوں
ان دیوں کو بجھایا جاتا ہے
