دیکھتے ہیں محاکمہ کیا ہے
نقد عیب و ہنر پرکھتی ہے
مختلف اس سے تجزیہ کیا ہے
دل یہ کہتا ہے ہم ہی خاطی ہیں
اس سے بہتر محاسبہ کیا ہے
ہیں سبھی آئنے نشانے پر
دوستو یہ معاملہ کیا ہے
زخم کھانا جگر لہو کرنا
اور شاعر کا مشغلہ کیا ہے
