TuuTe but masjid banī mismār but-ḳhāna huā
jab to ik sūrat bhī thī ab saaf vīrāna huā
TuTe but masjid bani mismar but-KHana hua
jab to ek surat bhi thi ab saf virana hua
chāñdnī rātoñ meñ chillātā phirā
chāñd sī jis ne vo sūrat dekh lī
chandni raaton mein chillata phira
chand si jis ne wo surat dekh li
aa andalīb mil ke kareñ āh-o-zāriyāñ
tū haa.e gul pukār maiñ chillā.ūñ haa.e dil
