dekhoge to har moḌ pe mil jā.eñgī lāsheñ
DhūñDoge to is shahr meñ qātil na milegā
dekhoge to har moD pe mil jaengi lashen
DhunDoge to is shahr mein qatil na milega
chehre pe saare shahr ke gard-e-malāl hai
jo dil kā haal hai vahī dillī kā haal hai
chehre pe sare shahr ke gard-e-malal hai
jo dil ka haal hai wahi dilli ka haal hai
vahī qātil vahī munsif adālat us kī vo shāhid
bahut se faisloñ meñ ab taraf-dārī bhī hotī hai
wahi qatil wahi munsif adalat us ki wo shahid
bahut se faislon mein ab taraf-dari bhi hoti hai
dariyā ke talātum se to bach saktī hai kashtī
kashtī meñ talātum ho to sāhil na milegā

Malikzada Manzoor Ahmed Born on 17th Oct,1929, in Bhidhunpur, Malikzada Manzoor showed his literary talent at an early age. He acquired PG degree in Urdu & English and later did Ph.D in Urdu literature. He is extremely good at recitation and has recited many ghazals/nazams at mushairas and such other literary functions. Malikzada Manzoor retired as professor, department of Urdu, Lucknow University.
