is vahm se ki niiñd meñ aa.e na kuchh ḳhalal
ahbāb zer-e-ḳhāk sulā kar chale ga.e
is wahm se ki nind mein aae na kuchh KHalal
ahbab zer-e-KHak sula kar chale gae
maqbūl hoñ na hoñ ye muqaddar kī baat hai
sajde kisī ke dar pe kiye jā rahā huuñ maiñ

khaTakti jo rahe dil mein wo hasrat hum bhi rakhte hain
Duub jaate haiñ umīdoñ ke safīne is meñ
maiñ na mānūñgā ki aañsū hai zarā sā paanī
