تم پہ قربان ہر خوشی اپنی
گر ضرورت ہو اپنے بھارت پر
ہم لٹائیں گے زندگی اپنی
کیوں کروں فکر میں اندھیرے کی
چاند اپنا ہے چاندنی اپنی
جھوٹ سے اجتناب ہے ہم کو
سچ کی حامل ہے شاعری اپنی
بخشوا لو گناہ سب مہروؔ
چار دن کی ہے زندگی اپنی
