زیر لب مسکرا کے پڑھتے ہیں
زیر لب مسکرا کے پڑھتے ہیں
ایسا کیا ہے چھپا کے پڑھتے ہیں
جب صحیفے خدا کے پڑھتے ہیں
با وضو سر جھکا کے پڑھتے ہیں
ناپتے ہیں لکیروں سے قسمت
ہاتھ یوں دل لگا کے پڑھتے ہیں
اب تو ہر بات پر ہے طعنہ زنی
وہ تو خبریں سنا کے پڑھتے ہیں
صبح جب امتحان ہو رازیؔ
رات بھر دل لگا کے پڑھتے ہیں
