سردی میں دن سرد ملا
سردی میں دن سرد ملا
ہر موسم بے درد ملا
اونچے لمبے پیڑوں کا
پتہ پتہ زرد ملا
سوچتے ہیں کیوں زندہ ہیں
اچھا یہ سر درد ملا
ہم روئے تو بات بھی تھی
کیوں روتا ہر فرد ملا
ملا ہمیں بس ایک خدا
اور وہ بھی بے درد ملا
علویؔ خواہش بھی تھی بانجھ
جذبہ بھی نا مرد ملا
