زبان شہر پر تازہ کہانی چھوڑ جاتا ہے
زبان شہر پر تازہ کہانی چھوڑ جاتا ہے
بچھڑتے وقت وہ اپنی نشانی چھوڑ جاتا ہے
در و دیوار جسم و جاں کھنڈر سے لگنے لگتے ہیں
کوئی جب شہر دل کی حکمرانی چھوڑ جاتا ہے
بہاؤ ہے تری جانب ہی دریائے محبت کا
ذرا سا رخ بدلتے ہی روانی چھوڑ جاتا ہے
