जसामत की नुमाइश से कोई अच्छा नहीं बनता
गरजना ज़ोर से बादल का होना धूप का मद्धम
फ़क़त बूँदें बरसने से कभी दरिया नहीं बनता
कभी शोहरत नहीं मिलती बिना मेहनत मशक़्क़त के
फ़लक को देख लेने से कोई तारा नहीं बनता
'अदावत दूर करने को ज़रूरी है शनासाई
बिछड़ कर दूर रहने से कोई अपना नहीं बनता
