رات بھر چاند سے گلہ ہی رہا
دل نہ بہلا اسے بلا کر بھی
ہم نے چاہا بہت نبھائیں اسے
کچھ نہ بدلا وفا نبھا کر بھی
وہ جو بچھڑا تو یہ سمجھ آیا
کچھ نہیں ملتا دل لگا کر بھی
روک لیتے ہیں یار آنسو ہم
درد سہتے ہیں مسکرا کر بھی
