سہمی ہوئی ہر چشم تماشا ہے سڑک پر
کس خواب کا بکھرا ہوا ملبہ ہے سڑک پر
لہروں کی طرح شور سا اٹھتا ہے سر شام
انساں ہیں کہ بپھرا ہوا دریا ہے سڑک پر
رستے کی رکاوٹ تو نہیں ہے مرا ہونا
میں خود تو نہیں ہوں مرا سایہ ہے سڑک پر
