جاگتی شب خدا حافظ
جا چکے سب خدا حافظ
دشت مجھ کو بلاتا ہے
زندگی اب خدا حافظ
راستہ روکتے کیوں ہو
کہہ دیا جب خدا حافظ
کھا چکا دانۂ گندم
مہرباں رب خدا حافظ
آخری سانس جب نکلی
لکھ دیا تب خدا حافظ
اب چلو رات ہے بابرؔ
شام کی چھب خدا حافظ
