یہاں مضبوط سے مضبوط لوہا ٹوٹ جاتا ہے
یہاں مضبوط سے مضبوط لوہا ٹوٹ جاتا ہے
کئی جھوٹے اکٹھے ہوں تو سچا ٹوٹ جاتا ہے
نہ اتنا شور کر ظالم ہمارے ٹوٹ جانے پر
کہ گردش میں فلک سے بھی ستارا ٹوٹ جاتا ہے
تسلی دینے والے تو تسلی دیتے رہتے ہیں
مگر وہ کیا کرے جس کا بھروسا ٹوٹ جاتا ہے
کسی سے عشق کرتے ہو تو پھر خاموش رہیے گا
ذرا سی ٹھیس سے ورنہ یہ شیشہ ٹوٹ جاتا ہے
