مجھ کو بھی حق ہے زندگانی کا

میں بھی کردار ہوں کہانی کا
جو مجھے آج پھر نظر آیا
خواب ہے میری نوجوانی کا
ہم کو درپیش ہے زمانے سے
مسئلہ بخت کی گرانی کا
کیوں نکلتا نظر نہیں آتا
کچھ نتیجہ بھی خوش گمانی کا
کل جو سیلاب آ گیا تو عظیمؔ
ہم نے جانا مزاج پانی کا
