अँधेरा है कैसे तिरा ख़त पढ़ूँ
लिफ़ाफ़े में कुछ रौशनी भेज दे
मैं प्यासा हूँ ख़ाली कुआँ है तो क्या
सुराही लिए इक परी भेज दे
बहुत नेक बंदे हैं अब भी तिरे
किसी पर तो या-रब वही भेज दे
कहीं खो न जाए क़यामत का दिन
ये अच्छा समय है अभी भेज दे
