JOB DESCRIPTION

Rekhta is looking for Sub-editor/Editor - Content responsible for ideation and creation of relevant and impactful content from Urdu literature for digital platforms like website, blogs and social media. The candidate should have deep knowledge of Urdu language and literature and can write interesting articles and blogs either in Urdu, Hindi or English for Urdu scholars and beginners. Should plan and develop content calendar and work closely with Urdu poets, authors and scholars from around the world.

• Ability to create stories and articles.
• Focused on ideation and creation of relevant and impactful content from Urdu literature for digital platforms

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 0 to 10 years of work experience

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Passion for Urdu poetry and literature.
• Strong writing skills and ability to create stories and articles.
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to liaison with Urdu poets and authors.
• Fair understanding of new age digital media
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• Proficient in Urdu, Knowledge of Hindi and Urdu will be an advantage

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Masters in Urdu, English or any subject.

• Location for full time job would be Noida, U.P.
