soch ke be-samt darwazon pe jab patthar laga

ye zor-o-shor sar-e-abshaar kaisa hai

sapne ki wadi ko taj kar rup-nagar mein aaya kar

aankhon ka qusur kuchh nahin hai

aansuon ki ek chadar tan gai hai

qaid-e-tanhai se qaid-e-umr mein aa jaunga

mujhi se puchh raha tha mera pata koi

baat karna hai karo samne itrao nahin

andhe moD ko jo bhi kaTe aahista guzre

wo zard chehra moattar nigah jaisa tha

jab juda peDon se kaT kar Dali Dali ho gai
