jitne achchhe log hain wo mujhse wabasta rahe

ghar hai to dar bhi hoga diwar bhi rahegi

sarhad-e-gul se nikal kar hum juda ho jaenge

asar-e-ah-e-na-rasa dekho

phir kisi yaad ka darwaza khula aahista

rakh diya hai meri dahliz pe patthar kis ne

yaad mazi ke charaghon ko bujhaya na karo

yun bhi kya tha aur ab kya rah gaya

harf-e-ghazal se rang-e-tamanna bhi chhin le

jab parinde daraKHton se jaane lage

uske karam se hai na tumhaari nazar se hai
