bazm-e-takallufat sajaane mein rah gaya

chahe tan man sab jal jae

be-sahaaron ka intizam karo

ai dil KHushi ka zikr bhi karne na de mujhe

baDe adab se ghurur-e-sitam-garan bola

baad-e-saba ye zulm KHuda-ra na kijiyo

is diwane dil ko dekho kya shewa apnae hai

kaun kahta hai ki mahrumi ka shikwa na karo

sitam ki tegh ye kahti hai sar na uncha kar

pi kar chain agar aaya bhi kitni der ko aaega

lahu se apne zamin lala-zar dekhte the

tamam raat aansuon se gham ujalta raha
