parai nind mein sone ka tajraba kar ke

ada-e-ishq hun puri ana ke sath hun main

pahle-pahal laDenge tamasKHur uDaenge

KHwab ka KHwab haqiqat ki haqiqat samjhen

tere aage sar-kashi dikhlaunga?

ek hijrat ki aawazon ka

sukut-e-sham ka hissa tu mat bana mujhko

janab-e-shaiKH ki harza-sarai jari hai

main jab wajud ke hairat-kade se mil raha tha

pagal kaise ho jate hain

itne hasin chehre mile tum nahin mile

sab ko hota hai hamara to nahin ho sakta

zan-e-hasin thi aur phul chun ke lati thi

duniya ka nahin mujhko sahaara tha tumhaara

us ka chehra bhul gaya hun

is tarah se na aazmao mujhe

jagna aur jaga ke so jaana

ab mere haal pe kyon tumko pareshani hai

usi ke samne be-iKHtiyar hota hun

kisi ki yaad mein sab kuchh bhulana paDta hai

ye usko man lene ki ghaDi thi

kise bataun ki tu pyar hai saza koi nain

jo waqt aaya to sab ne dekha ali akela hi DaT gaya hai

charagahen nai aabaad hongi

kya puchhna hai is mein bhula mujhko dijiye
