ek din sāhil-e-samundar par
chal rahā thā maiñ bas yuuñ hī tanhā
dil meñ tūfān us kī yādoñ kā
ashk āñkhoñ se mere jaarī thā
ik samundar zamīñ ke siine meñ
dūsrā vo jo mere dil meñ thā
ek din sahil-e-samundar par
chal raha tha main bas yun hi tanha
dil mein tufan us ki yaadon ka
ashk aankhon se mere jari tha
ek samundar zamin ke sine mein
dusra wo jo mere dil mein tha
