یہ ظلمت کے دھاروں میں پلتی امیدیں
بکھرتی امیدیں سنبھلتی امیدیں
مری چشم گریہ ہے گہرا سمندر
سمندر کی موجیں مچلتی امیدیں
ہوں گھائل پرندہ نذر آسماں پر
ہیں اڑنے کی دل میں مچلتی امیدیں
یہ امید چاہت یہ خواہش یہ حسرت
ہیں دل میں بکھرتی سنبھلتی امیدیں
