Usually the second couplet is attributed to Allama Iqbal. But actually, its from a ghazal of Sayyad Sadiq Hussain, which is also included in his book 'Barg-e-Sabz' published in 1918.
तू समझता है हवादिस हैं सताने के लिए
ये हुआ करते हैं ज़ाहिर आज़माने के लिए
तुंदी-ए-बाद-ए-मुख़ालिफ़ से न घबरा ऐ उक़ाब
ये तो चलती है तुझे ऊँचा उड़ाने के लिए
कामयाबी की हुआ करती है नाकामी दलील
रंज आते हैं तुझे राहत दिलाने के लिए
चर्ख़-ए-कज-रफ़्तार है फिर माइल-ए-जौर-ओ-सितम
बिजलियाँ शाहिद हैं ख़िर्मन को जलाने के लिए
नीम-जाँ है किस लिए हाल-ए-ख़िलाफ़त देख कर
ढूँड ले कोई दवा इस को बचाने के लिए
चैन से रहने न दे इन को न ख़ुद आराम कर
मुस्तइद हैं जो ख़िलाफ़त को मिटाने के लिए
दस्त-ओ-पा रखते हैं और बे-कार क्यों बैठे रहें
हम उठेंगे अपनी क़िस्मत को बनाने के लिए
