ख़ाना-साज़ उजाला मार
ख़ाना-साज़ उजाला मार
चाँद पे अपना भाला मार
नूर का दरिया फूट पड़े
हिज्र का ऐसा नाला मार
रास्ता पानी माँगता है
अपने पाँव का छाला मार
ख़ास को रंग आम दिखा
अदनाई से आला मार
छोड़ ये ज़िल्लत दश्त को चल
शहर के घर को ताला मार
रूह भी सर हो जाएगी
पहले बदन का पाला मार
देर न कर 'फ़रहत-एहसास'
मार सफ़ेद पे काला मार
