jaan kyā duuñ ki jāntā huuñ maiñ
tum ne ye chiiz le ke dī hī nahīñ
why should I give my life I know

ham to dushman ko dost kar lete
par kareñ kyā tirī ḳhushī hī nahīñ

ham tirī aarzū pe jiite haiñ
