अपने दम से गुज़र औक़ात नहीं करता मैं
कैसे कह दूँ कि ग़लत बात नहीं करता मैं
शाम होते ही मिरे घर में सहर होती है
रात भी होती है पर रात नहीं करता मैं
आज फिर ख़ुद से ख़फ़ा हूँ तो यही करता हूँ
आज फिर ख़ुद से कोई बात नहीं करता मैं
सिर्फ़ इक बात ही से बात बढ़ी है इतनी
सोचता हूँ कि मुलाक़ात नहीं करता मैं
क्या बुरा है जो मुझे लोग बुरा कहते हैं
काम करते हैं जो हज़रात नहीं करता मैं
