jā chukī hai bahār chup ho jā
ab na ā.eñge rūThne vaale
dīda-e-ashk-bār chup ho jā
jā chukā kāravān-e-lāl-o-gul
uḌ rahā hai ġhubār chup ho jā
chhūT jaatī hai phuul se ḳhushbū
ruuTh jaate haiñ yaar chup ho jā
ham faqīroñ kā is zamāne meñ
kaun hai ġham-gusār chup ho jā
hādsoñ kī na aañkh khul jaa.e
hasrat-e-sogvār chup ho jā
giit kī zarb se bhī ai 'sāġhar'
TuuT jaate haiñ taar chup ho jā
ai dil-e-be-qarar chup ho ja
ja chuki hai bahaar chup ho ja
ab na aaenge ruThne wale
dida-e-ashk-bar chup ho ja
ja chuka karawan-e-lal-o-gul
uD raha hai ghubar chup ho ja
chhuT jati hai phul se KHushbu
ruTh jate hain yar chup ho ja
hum faqiron ka is zamane mein
kaun hai gham-gusar chup ho ja
hadson ki na aankh khul jae
hasrat-e-sogwar chup ho ja
git ki zarb se bhi ai 'saghar'
TuT jate hain tar chup ho ja
