aise aane se na aanā achchhā

aae hain ghair ko le kar ham-rah

aise aane se na aana achchha

dard ho jis meñ hikāyat hai vo ḳhuub

jo ho rangīñ vo fasānā achchhā

dard ho jis mein hikayat hai wo KHub

jo ho rangin wo fasana achchha

kuchh bhi kar sakta nahin tadbir se

sach kaho kis ne liya dil ki jo paya na gaya

mohabbat tujhse wabasta rahegi jawedan meri

maut aati hai gham aata hai azab aata hai

ye kya KHabar hai ki wo be-KHabar nahin aata
