humne chup rah ke jo ek sath bitaya hua hai
ham ne chup rah ke jo ek saath bitāyā huā hai
vo zamānā mirī āvāz meñ aayā huā hai
ġhair-mānūs sī ḳhushbū se lagā hai mujh ko
tū ne ye haath kahīñ aur milāyā huā hai
maiñ use dekh ke lauTā huuñ to kyā dekhtā huuñ
shahr kā shahr mujhe dekhne aayā huā hai
hum ne chup rah ke jo ek sath bitaya hua hai
wo zamana meri aawaz mein aaya hua hai
ghair-manus si KHushbu se laga hai mujh ko
tu ne ye hath kahin aur milaya hua hai
main use dekh ke lauTa hun to kya dekhta hun
shahr ka shahr mujhe dekhne aaya hua hai
